Southport Walks have now resumed after a couple of years enforced break. Both the 'Classic Town' and the 'Changing Coastline' guided Walks can be pre-arranged, for a day and time to suit, at £7.50 per person (minimum five people or £35). Please just contact by e-mail, text or phone to arrange.

‘Classic Town’ Walk
As featured in the ‘Southport Visiter’ and ‘The Champion’.
A gentle 1½-2 hour stroll along iconic Lord Street and the Promenade, admiring the beautiful buildings, monuments and gardens of this magnificent town. Hear stories of its founders and of its famous locals.
Departs from outside The Atkinson on Lord Street (PR8 1DB).
‘Changing Coastline’ Walk
As recommended in ‘The Sunday Times’.
A 1½-2 hour stroll through the sand dunes, discovering how the coastline changes. Learn about the unique flora and fauna. Hear tales of shipwrecks and shrimpers, the aerodrome on the sands and the lost railway line, the hotel for the well-to-do and the summer camp for the Manchester poor.
Departs from outside Southport Eco Centre, Esplanade (PR8 1RX).
(Car parking £2 at Park & Ride, or a short walk from Lord Street).
Suitable footwear recommended.
